Dave Patzwald of Schneider Electric's North American Operating Division, was given the challenge of fixing the IT systems availability issues. The problem was not just the perception that the It systems were slow and unreliable: There was no agreement even on how to define slow and fast in terms of response time, nor were there any benchmarks established against which IT performance could be monitored and improved. Communication between IT and business counterparts was limited. He then turned to Compuware Vantage Suite. Compuware vantage Suite proved to be ideally suited for such a challenge.
