ABSTRACT:
A lot of organizations are struggling with disaster recovery. Research shows that over 60% of organizations in the US haven't really implemented a strong disaster recovery plan; there are a number of reasons for that. Some organizations look on disaster recovery as just an expensive insurance plan, others struggle to actually implement disaster recovery because of the complexity and the cost, and even organizations that have put disaster recovery plans in place are struggling either to test those plans on a regular basis or to find that the disaster recovery plans they've put in place actually deliver for them the sort of results they're expecting--being able to recover in a reasonable amount of time.
