ABSTRACT:
AOK Brandenburg installed Philips SpeechExec Enterprise dictation and transcription software for 15 workstations in May 2007, where it is being used together with the new mobile dictation devices Philips DPM 9610. After installation of the devices, installation of the software and training the actual operation was started immediately. The system is virtually self-explanatory due to the simple operation.

The new technology has substantially improved communication between the author and the typist. Thus the workflow functionalities of Philips SpeechExec Enterprises make it possible to pass on typing jobs to a pre-defined typist, to maintain an overview of the number of dictations being processed by each typist and much more.
